In spite of her captivating work, the humble first-year Fashion Arts student’s intentions are not to impress others.

Student takes home car

The Humber Students’ Federation partnered with Leggat Chevrolet this past weekend to give away their biggest prize ever: a car.
Ten students were selected from a larger group of students who submitted letters telling the HSF and Leggat Chevrolet what they have done for their school and community, and why they deserved to win a free car.

Despite its broad polytechnic strokes, Humber ITAL is speckled with creativity and a love of art.
From Monday, Mar. 23 until Wednesday, Mar. 25, abstract art from the heart and nuances of the psychedelic sixties were displayed in an art show called “For the Love of HeArt” at Humber’s North campus.

HSF gives spa lovers girls night out

Humber ITAL’s Student Centre was full of relaxation, pampering and stress-free music on Wednesday. Mar. 18 at North campus and Thursday, Mar. 19 at Lakeshore. The Humber Students’ Federation hosted a ladies spa day for the third year in a row to help the females on campus de-stress and relax before final exams. It was available from noon to 3 p.m. and catered to different needs.

Bets were placed and chips were being wagered as some students struck it rich while others lost it all at the Humber Students’ Federation’s Casino Day.
On Wednesday, Mar. 18 at Humber ITAL’s Lakeshore campus and Thursday, Mar. 19 at North campus, students were given $5000 in fake bills to play popular casino games Roulette, No Limit Texas Hold’Em Poker, Blackjack and Craps.
