Humber students make like Tom and cruise

The weather held out beautifully for this year’s Humber Students’ Federation Boat Cruise, as students swarmed to jump on board.
The second annual event began without a hitch at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12 and was the only Frosh event held off of Humber ITAL’s campus, instead taking place downtown Toronto at Harbourfront.

Trailer Park Boys hit up Humber and host an awesome toga party

Randy and Mr. Lahey parked their trailer at Humber ITAL for the night and hosted the Toga Bash in the Amphitheatre at North Campus on Thursday, Sept. 10.
The second Trailer Park Boys movie, Countdown to Liquor Day, comes out Sept. 25, and their hopes for it are big. John Dunsworth, who plays Mr. Lahey on the show, believes more people are going to like this movie than the previous one.

HSF celebrates sixth annual foam party at Amphitheatre with added hot tubs

On Wednesday, Sept. 9, Humber Students’ Federation successfully hosted their 5th annual foam party in the HSF Amphitheatre at North Campus. Students were able to enjoy a fun-filled night splashing around in one of four outdoor hot tubs and sliding through mounds of slippery foam.

They also had hits borrowed to video games Omega Boost, Street Skater 2, Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes, and Rockband.
