As the school work continues to pile up, why not wind down by joining one of Humber’s extramural teams?
Pump up your heartbeat by trying out for one of the many sports available to satisfy any competitive bone in your body, while having fun at the same time.
Humber’s finest will compete for the win against other colleges in various athletic events and tournaments throughout the year.
Dribble a ball on the basketball team, channel your inner Beckham on the soccer field, or skate circles around the competition in a friendly game of hockey.
Humber’s Campus Rec Coordinator, Jennifer Maclam, said that extramurals are a good way for students to get involved on campus.
“It’s still for fun, but they get a bit of competition against other schools, too,” she said.
An information session outlining tryout times and any subsequent knowledge on extramural sports at Humber was held on Tuesday Sept. 16th.
